The former Operations Hall of the central Post Office is situated on floor 2 and continues to be the symbolic and functional heart of the building, retaining its original purpose: communication. It has a desk offering cultural information on the city, a permanent exhibition on the history of the building and its restoration and a cafeteria.

Visitors are invited to sit back for a chat or a good read in the cosy and colourful meeting areas, which have reference materials and Spanish daily newspapers. The furnishings by architect and interior designer Pedro Feduchi have a contemporary design in keeping with the stateliness of the building.

The old chapel of the Telecommunications Palace, on the same floor, is a unique space that hosts various activities such as encounters, conferences or poetry cycles.
