Curated by the Arquimática studio, this exhibition offers visitors an overview of the history of the building, a 20th-century architectural gem and a symbolic and structural landmark of Madrid.

The exhibition takes us on a journey from the early 20th century to the present, beginning with the conception (1905) and construction (1907-1919) of Palacios and Otamendi’s great masterpiece, continuing through its years of activity and successive expansions as the Palace of Communications, and ending with the 2005 ideas competition and its transformation into a great cultural centre and new home of the Madrid City Council.
