La ciudad en viñetas (The City in Cartoons) is a series of exhibitions devoted to comics. Over six years it has shown, on a large panel on the 4th floor, unpublished mural cartoons devoted to Madrid created specifically for the series by roughly thirty national artists.

Some of today’s most notable cartoonists and numerous representatives of the new generation of avant-garde illustrators have given their own unique narrative take on the buildings, people and stories that populate the city.

Now, in the form of a retrospective and synopsis, CentroCentro is exhibiting a selection of the very best works. It will once again feature some of the artists in a collective intervention that aims to transform the walls of the space into one big cartoon for three months.
